CODE OF ETHICS
We are the members of the Missouri Ranch Horse Association (MoRHA) and recognize the need to carry out our role in providing service to the American Ranch Horse Association (ARHA) and the Ranch Horse industry in a professional manner. We must deal with the public and our members and colleagues with the highest degree of integrity. We have therefore set forth the following creed to fulfill these obligations and to govern our endeavors.
· To adhere to the professional standards of the American Ranch Horse Association (ARHA) and The Missouri Ranch Horse Association (MoRHA).
· To work to further the goals and objectives of said nonprofit organization.
· To ensure that the welfare of the “Ranch Horse” is paramount and that all “Ranch Horses” shall at all times be treated humanely, with dignity, respect, and compassion.
· To conduct all business affairs with integrity, sincerity and accuracy in an open and forthright manner.
· To act with integrity in all dealings, financial and otherwise, with other professionals, the public, clients and members.
· That all horses shown at MoRHA shows and that all exhibitors and owners of said horses must comply with all ARHA and MoRHA rules and regulations without exception.
· To fully disclose all prices, transactions, and business decisions to MoRHA members if requested and said request is submitted in writing by a current MoRHA member.
· To handle all business and operations in a manner which promotes the image and integrity of both the American Ranch Horse Association and the Missouri Ranch Horse Association.
· That members and/or directors not receive or charge any monetary commission or other remuneration for consideration in promoting a particular arena, facility, clinician, judge, or business in regard to MoRHA activities and events.
· To instill confidence among all MoRHA members and the public in both the general equine and the American Ranch Horse Association industry, avoiding any action conducive to discrediting it or membership in the ARHA or the MoRHA.
